Cinco De Mayo At El Carmen

Cinco De Mayo At El Carmen

On Cinco De Mayo, El Carmen is holding a celebration of the holiday (“holiday”). There will be luchadores, mariachis, and even an “Hora de Fiesta from 12PM to 3PM. Check out more information on the event after the jump!

On Saturday, May 5, 2012, in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, El Carmen will open its doors from Noon to 2:00 AM, offering guests an extra seven hours to enjoy their lauded “Classic Margaritas”, selection of 400+ tequilas and authentic Mexican cuisine. El Carmen will further the celebratory atmosphere with “Hora de Fiesta” pricing from Noon to 3:00 PM, serenading Mariachis, and a surprise visit from a “Luchador”.

In an effort to ensure that all guests are able to enjoy table seating, El Carmen will follow its Cinco de Mayo policy: “Guests will be seated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, with a one-and-a-half hour limit per table, so that everyone gets a turn.” (Please Note: Guests must be 21 years of age with a valid I.D.)

El Carmen was a pioneer on Los Angeles’ agave front and still remains one of the city’s foremost tequila destinations housing more than 400 tequilas and mezcals. Aside from the main tequila attraction, Zagat- and Gayot-rated El Carmen is also known for its authentic Mexican food, inventive cocktails, and festive atmosphere.

El Carmen is located at 8138 West 3rd Street (between La Jolla Avenue and Crescent Heights Boulevard), Los Angeles, CA 90048. Valet parking is available. El Carmen is open Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM; Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM. El Carmen’s “Hora de Fiesta” runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
