VH1 has a new documentary coming out soon, with a screening on April 27, that traces the history of the LA riots and its relationship to hip hop. As we come to the twenty year anniversary of the infamous event, it’s great to see the work being done around it in ways that are very enlightening–and engaging in many ways.
