LA Coffee Club Visits Curtis

LA Coffee Club are a group of young almost rabid fans of coffee. They hold free monthly coffee tastings, feature and showcase local roasters, and are quickly becoming the posterkids for Los Angeles’ ravenous coffee culture. Pushing this idea to the next level, they’ve started showcasing coffee items through videos, extending their brand even more online. Their first stop? Montebello’s Curtis factory, where lots of crazy coffeemakers are made.

In the video, co-founder of the Club Antone Hall tours the factory with Wilbur Curtis’ (the founder) great grandson, Brant Curtis. There’s lots of working and moving parts and explanation of what Curtis is hoping to do with their coffeemakers. It’s interesting because it’s a huge factory and, really, I have never even thought about where those machines came from. I would have suspected robots made all of the machines but you actually see a fairly large staff making and building products. It’s great.

Catch the video below and be on the lookout for lots of new LA Coffe Club programming. Founders Antone and Adam Pauls mentioned they have a lot coming up this Summer…
