Last we checked with JIMMYnADI, they had made a video and photographic experience representing the bubbling creativity in Los Angeles. We recently heard from Jimmy that he and Adi have a little project they’re doing to help boost everyone’s motivation and positivity: they’re making a series of creative public service announcements that are just so sweet. This is just what you need for your Monday morning.

The series is a slightly abstract video art piece that they’ll be sharing on the Internet. They only have two now–Loops and Darkness–which speak to topics like beating the blues and focusing on your goals. The approach sidesteps after school special cheese and replaces it with their dreamy, colorful aesthetic. They’re funny with a semi-serious undertone: they’re the hip PSA’s that would play on the same channel that has commercial breaks with that Iko Iko and l.a.Eyeworks commercials.

“I wanted to let you know that Adi and I are doing a new series of motivational PSAs right now,” Jimmy explained in an e-mail. “The goal of the PSAs is to promote positivity and give people who are feeling slightly in the dumps a boost of energy. It felt like there was so much intense stuff happening in the news this summer, we wanted to inject some good ideas and vibes back into the world.”
