Another Look At Endeavor In LA

Another-Look-At-Endeavor-In-LA

Last week we shared a video from the LA Times on Endeavor’s travels through the city. We shouldn’t be surprised but other people have made some videos and–Surprise again!–they are actually a little better than the Downtown news outlet’s effort. One in particular stood out and was made by a group of cinematographers and filmmakers who wanted to catch the once in a lifetime opportunity on film–and they did a super great job.

The short film is titled Mission 26 The Big Endeavor and it puts a lot of style and color into the space shuttle’s trip. The film made by Joe Capra, Chris Pritchard, Brian Hawkins, Andrew Walker, Ryan Killackey and Matthew Givot gives you somewhat exclusive looks at everything involved shuttle’s travel, from the “Welcome Home” signs to the parade of people following the shuttle around. There’s a lot of visual overlapping between this video and the Times video but this one has a ton more life to it and at some points takes more risk. There’s even a shot of the space shuttle passing over the flimmaker’s head! We can’t get enough of the video.

Check it out the quick video below and this is definitely the space shuttle video to watch. Well done!
