Nearly a month until our one year anniversary (!!!!!!!!), we have some news to share. It’s not bad news or good news but something you guys should know as there may be a lag or a few slower days in posting. As of Monday, I started a job working on the social media for a television show. It should be fun and super exciting and blah blah blah but it also means LAIY will have some weird time management issues to adjust to. We’ll have it figured out in no time!

"Look, We're In Vanity Fair!": A Behind The Scenes Look At Our Soon-To-Be-Infamous Magazine Shoot

If you guys caught our Tweet late Friday, we had a little surprise to share: Los Angeles, I’m Yours makes an appearance in this month’s issue of Vanity Fair! Yes, there is a tiny blurb about us on page 61, slid in between a story on the Scandinavian cultural invasion and how Frank Gehry is battling Dwight D. Eisenhower’s grandchildren while attempting to build a memorial to the former president. You could blink and miss it but you absolutely should not. We are positive this is the story Vanity Fair readers are going to be talking about for years and years to come so we figure we’d give a little behind the scenes take on what went into creating our soon-to-be-infamous Vanity Fair Agenda inclusion.

We can all agree that that last Muse album’s cover art was pretty nice and certainly wonderfully colorful. Apparently it has an LA base to it: the work used comes courtesy of LA’s Laboratory of Neuro Imaging. This is old news, sure, but we thought this was super great.
