March 14 through March 17 at the James Bridges Theatre welcomes the 2010 Tony winning best play RED. The show is about Mark Rothko and will feature Alfred Molina and Jonathan Groff.
April 3and April 5 in Los Angeles will be a performance by Compagnie Étant Donné by Theatre Raymond Kabbaz. The piece is a dance performance that “explores dance as a conceptual art form.”
This sounds excellent: The Getty is hosting a few storytelling shows with some really famous people (like Alison Pil, Leonard Nimoy, Jane Kaczmarek). It will be held on March 23 and March 24 with three shows in total.
Choreographer Luciana Achugar will be premiring her Bessie winning Puro Deseo on March 29 and March 30. It will play at the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles.
